Solution to make your iGo Map compatible with your GPS devices

You may have the problem when you loading and opening your iGO navigation App, the main reason is about the different resolution between your GPS screen and iGO Map.

The problems you may have could be as followings.

• The Map cannot fit your screen properly.


• The Navigation App cannot open.

If your GPS devices are 4.3’’ (480*272), now you want to fit your screen with the Map and open it correctly. Please follow the steps below carefully.

1. Find the file “sys.txt” in the Map File (Germany Map in the name of GPS-igo9-De and the Europe Map in the name of GPS-EU)

Path for Germany Map: GPS-EU – igo9 – sys.txt

Path for Europe Map: GPS-EU – igo9 – sys.txt

2.  Open “sys.txt”, Find the parameters of resolution “screen_x” and “screen_y” and change the original 800*480 to 480*272 and save the txt file.

3.  Find the file “sys default.txt” in the Map File (Germany Map in the name of GPS-igo9-De and the Europe Map in the name of GPS-EU)

Path for Europe Map: GPS-EU – igo9 –sys default.txt

4.  Open “sys default.txt”, Find the parameters of resolution “screen_x” and “screen_y” and change the original 800*480 to 480*272 and save the txt file.
